Women’s participation in the renewable energy workforce in Sub-Saharan Africa

As part of the Energy2Equal program, Econoler has conducted a workforce study that assesses the opportunities and challenges women face in working for private renewable energy (RE) providers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Discover our findings and recommendations to advance women’s participation in the RE sector in the final report published in June 2022.

Visit the project’s page to know more about Econoler’s role and the services we provided.

Energy2Equal is a five-year program launched in 2019 by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in partnership with the Government of Canada. It aims to increase research and stimulate greater women’s participation in the energy sector.
