MEPS Project in West Africa

In Yamoussoukro, the Econoler team presented the results of a preliminary study on the implementation status of minimum energy performance standards (MEPS). Many representatives from ECOWAS countries gathered to learn about the recommendations issued on the establishment of MEPS regulations and the development of new standards for electrical appliances in the region. By the end of the project, a strategy for applying regional MEPS will have been elaborated and an overall evaluation of regional trial facilities will have been completed.
