Evaluating EE from one ocean to another

Econoler is proud to be working with Natural Resources Canada, EPS Energy, BC Hydro, EfficiencyOne, and other industrial energy efficiency program leaders from across Canada to develop a national measurement and verification protocol to improve energy performance. The new protocol will be an important contribution for energy efficiency programs that provide commercial and industrial end users with the tools and support to continually improve their energy performance over time. Such program models, including strategic energy management, energy management information systems, and pay-for-performance, are becoming a significant component in demand-side management portfolios.

The Econoler Evaluation and Planning Team is involved in drafting the new protocol as well as participating in working group discussions to provide an evaluator’s perspective. The team has extensive experience evaluating and assisting industrial energy management programs across Canada in strategic energy management and energy management information systems.
