Pierre Langlois conducted a two-day workshop in Ankara, Turkey on May 25-26 to present the findings of an extensive technical assistance work aimed at developing the use of energy performance contracting (EPC) in Turkey’s private and public sectors, and aimed at assessing the energy efficiency potential of the country’s public facilities.  The workshop attracted stakeholders from the Ministry of Energy, various ESCOs and financing organizations interested in the topic. A complementary event was also hosted on the measurement and verification of energy savings for the benefit of practitioners in Turkey, focusing on the use of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), in collaboration with EOYDER, Turkey’s national association of energy efficiency practitioners.
