Econoler Recognized as a Best Workplace in Canada!

With immense pride, Econoler received another prestigious honour last night in Toronto from Great Place to Work: a spot among the Best Workplaces in Canada! We proudly reached the 89th position on the list of companies with 100 or fewer Canadian employees, as published in The Globe and Mail.

Econoler is honoured to receive this recognition, which highlights Canadian companies that foster a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment where people can thrive.

“This new distinction reflects the ongoing efforts we’ve made to strengthen and evolve our organizational culture,” said Jean-François Montreuil, CEO of Econoler, upon accepting the commemorative plaque at the celebration gala at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. “It’s a recognition that belongs to the entire organization and stems from the dedication of each Econoler employee—people who share and live our core values every day. We’re also proud to represent a Quebec entrepreneurial success story that shines across Canada and internationally,” he added.

With over four decades of global experience, Econoler has seen significant growth in recent years—both in our activities and in our teams. To attract and retain top talent, we’ve focused on strengthening our leadership practices and building a workplace culture that is both positive and engaging. The uniqueness of this culture lies in our core values—Excellence, Respect, and Innovation—which our employees embody daily.

We see their passion and commitment reflected in the work they do, inspired by our mission, the stimulating nature of our projects, and the shared satisfaction of contributing to initiatives that have a real impact on the global energy transition. These efforts have been validated by two consecutive Great Place to Work certifications, and now, by our ranking among Canada’s Best Workplaces.

“This recognition confirms that our day-to-day initiatives truly enhance the employee experience and motivates us to keep investing in our people and our culture—so we can continue offering a workplace that stands out nationwide,” says Charline Laroche, Principal Advisor, Culture and Talent at Econoler.

This year’s recognition is especially meaningful as it marks the 20th anniversary of the Best Workplaces in Canada list. We are honoured to be part of this important milestone and warmly congratulate all the other winning organizations.

Finally, we want to express our sincere thanks to our team. It is through their commitment, energy, and dedication that our organization has become such an exceptional place to work. Together, we’re writing the story of a truly unique company, and we’re excited to continue building that story—side by side—for many years to come.
