The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) has been playing a leadership role in Jamaica’s evolving energy industry and had operated as an energy service company (ESCO) since 2015. Now, in an attempt to expand its role, it has decided to operate as a Super ESCO. PCJ has requested the Clean Energy Solutions Center (CESC) to provide assistance and support to help it effectively play the role of a Super ESCO in accelerating the implementation of energy efficiency projects (EEPs) in the country. Econoler was hired to deliver an 8-hour remote online training course to the PCJ team that will carry out its Super ESCO activities, as well as to other interested staff members within PCJ.

Econoler was hired to deliver an 8-hour remote online training course to the PCJ team that will carry out its Super ESCO activities and other interested staff members within PCJ. The training included the following 5 modules:

  • The ESPC Procurement Process;
  • Walk-through Audits;
  • Investment Grade Audits;
  • Applied Measurement and Verification.
  • Application of the Super ESCO Business Model.  

  A total of 34 participants were invited to attend the training.
