project descritption
Econoler had the privilege of supporting CGC Inc., a key industrial player in Québec, in implementing an Energy Management System (EnMS) certified under the ISO 50001 standard. This project represents a major step in CGC’s efforts to improve energy performance and significantly reduce its environmental footprint.
highlights
Econoler accompanied CGC through an ambitious and structured process, beginning with a rigorous techno-economic study, which laid the foundation for implementing a high-performance and sustainable energy management system. This project illustrates what can be achieved when strategic vision meets technical expertise.
Techno-Economic Study
This first phase aimed to identify the plant’s decarbonization potential and prioritize high-impact actions.
Key outcomes included:
- Identification of significant GHG emissions reduction potential.
- Implementation of the EnMS will allow precise performance monitoring of projects stemming from the study, ensuring a measurable return on investment.
Implementation of a Structured, ISO 50001-Certified EnMS
Econoler led the design and implementation of a structured and standards-compliant Energy Management System tailored to CGC’s industrial operations.
Customized Training
We also provided customized training for plant teams to ensure long-term ownership and sustainable use of the new system.
