Assistance for a project targeting energy service companies (ESCOs)

EXPERTISE : , Project Implementation

Client

C36

project Description

C36 is an energy service company (ESCO) recently established by Électricité de France (EDF) in a consortium with a private French company. Some technical support is needed for the kick-off of the company’s activities to develop template documentation that will later be used in future projects. Support was also needed for the implementation of its first projects, particularly for the measurement and verification of savings to be generated through those projects.

Highlights

As part of this assignment, Econoler first validated energy performance contracts drawn up by C36 to check whether there was room for improvement. Econoler’s experts then developed an M&V Plan template for lighting retrofit projects. The objective was to build a framework for the development of an M&V plan in accordance with the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP). Econoler then developed an M&V Plan tailored to a plant lighting retrofit project that integrated occupancy and natural lighting controls.
