Pierre Langlois, co-manager of the steering committee of the Global ESCO Network (GEN)

Pierre Langlois has been acting as co-manager of the steering committee of the Global ESCO Network (GEN), a brand new initiative aimed at becoming a global driver and inspiring government actions to scale up the contribution of ESCOs to the global response for mitigating the threat of climate change. Co-managed by UNEP DTU and the Efficiency Value Organization, the GEN adds to and reinforces existing efforts of national and regional ESCO associations to promote increased ESCO sector activities at a global scale.

As one of its first major contributions, the GEN is proud to present the Perspectives 2020 publication with 10 articles from world-leading experts on the subject of ESCOs. The publication is supported by the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency, which is also behind the establishment of the Global ESCO Network. The publication was launched on December 10 on different platforms, including at www.globalesconetwork.org. Pierre Langlois wrote one of the articles and cowrote another one with Timothy Unruh from NAESCO in this new prestigious publication. Click here to access the document.
