Energy Efficiency Project in West Africa’s Industrial Sector

Econoler visited Burkina Faso and Togo to continue working on the energy-efficiency project for West Africa’s industrial sector as part of the Quebec International Climate Cooperation Program (Programme de coopération climatique internationale du Québec or PCCI) financed by Quebec’s provincial Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change. Victorien Justin Ague, Luc Tossou and Laurent Kossivi Domegni visited a plastics production factory in Togo and a corn-processing factory in Burkina Faso to conduct energy audits as part of the process of implementing an energy management system based on the ISO 50001 standard to improve these enterprises’ energy performance.
