Efficiency Manitoba launches its first EE plan!

Manitoba now has a Crown corporation dedicated to EE. Over the past 30 years, EE programs were delivered by Manitoba Hydro under the Power Smart brand. Efficiency Manitoba is now the agency responsible for helping homeowners, businesses, and industrial facilities in the province save energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and increase the comfort of their living and working spaces. Efficiency Manitoba just filed its first three-year EE Plan that presents the programs and initiatives that it offers to its customers. Econoler is proud to have contributed to this plan by providing an evaluation framework that presents the evaluation guidelines and industry accepted best practices, and a portfolio evaluation plan that outlines how, when and why these programs and initiatives should be evaluated.
