Econoler is awarded first Canadian CTCN contract

We are pleased to share that Econoler, a Canadian member of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), along with its national subcontractor in Viet Nam, has been awarded a contract to design and implement CTCN technical assistance in Viet Nam entitled “Consultancy Pilot Demonstration of Energy Service Company (ESCO) Model for Greenhouse Gases Emission Reduction in the Cement Sector in Viet Nam”.

The objective of the full scale, 12 month assignment is to develop a technical and financial mechanism (more specifically an ESCO model) which will enable the Vietnamese cement industry to attract public and private investments focusing on energy efficiency and conservation.

Econoler joined the CTCN in the Fall of 2015 and has been a great supporter of the initiative, providing several webinars, using its global network and attending the CTCN Regional forum that took place in Morocco in the Fall of 2016, in addition to bidding on this Request for Proposals.
