Position Summary
As an Intermediate Energy Efficiency Expert for projects in Latin America, you will work on various energy efficiency projects and ensure overall management of projects.

Description of Duties
General Project Management
- General management of contracts and deadlines
- Preparing detailed budgets, work plans, discussions and agreements on human and physical resource needs for the project
- Work distribution, monitoring deadlines, deliverables and contractual arrangements to efficiently manage project resources—both internal resources and subcontractors
- Maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure the work meets expectations and complies with the spirit and terms of the contract
- Supervising junior resources
- Quality control of deliverables
Technical Duties
- Performing energy analyses in commercial and institutional buildings, as well as in industrial facilities
- Providing technical assistance for the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
- Conducting various energy efficiency studies on specific technologies or regions of the world
- Developing policies inenergy efficiency, building codes, as well as standards and labelling
- Designing financing mechanisms for energy efficiency projects
- Designing, implementing and evaluating energy efficiency and demand-side management programs
- Drafting project idea notes (PIN) and project design documentation (project development documentation) for carbon emissions reduction projects
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance or other relevant degree
- Proficient in Spanish and English; French proficiency an asset
- Minimum five years of experience in energy efficiency
- Minimum of two years of experience in project management
- International experience an asset
